1. I appreciated the email informing me of a delivery "window" of 1 hour which meant I could plan today around it. The courier used delivered well within the time "window"

2. Delivery within 48 hours of order being placed was excellent

3. Items well-packaged and information on the Thank you note informative and helpful

4. Freephone number for customer services

5. Access to a local human being after only a couple of rings rather than mechanical re- direction and piped music

6. Knowledgeable staff regarding products/offers

All in all a 5* service. I will have no hesitation in recommending your site to my friends and I am about to place my second order!

I called firstthing on a Friday morning as I noticed you had the Kitchen Aid (candy apple) artisan mixer in stock. The lady I spoke to was very friendly and extremely efficient and knowledgeable with regard to various question I had particularily around your delivery terms and conditions..

I was nice to receive an e-mail from you by way of advance notification of the delivery and I was amazed to find I was actually given the time of delivery within a one hour window. What an excellent service which as a very busy professional I thoroughly appreciated.

I liked the idea of you re-using previous packaging and the helpful advice with regard to the wheat pellets used to protect the item and how I might dispose of them.

The actual product is great and something I have been trying to obtain for some months now. I have to say I don't particularly like ordering over the Internet but as you had the facility for me to call and speak with someone I was happy to place an order.

The speed of delivery was astounding for starters, as was the thorough pabckaging (well done Tim!) and clarity of the invoice.

As for the Stellar dual plate induction hob itself, it's fantastic - it looks brilliant, it's easy to use, and the speed at ehich it heats up is incredible. I timed it, and even at the highest heat setting, it only takes 3 seconds to be at full power.

Hi there I've just received my order earlier today and I thought I'd write to say how impressed I am.

There is a saga behind the items I ordered; I initially ordered them online from Debenhams on the 27th December. I emailed Debenhams for an update and got no response when the items hadn't arrived 10 days after placing the order. I then called on Friday of last week and got told they thought the items were lost, they would find out. If they were lost, well they have none left - but I could phone another Debenhams number to see if any had been returned. If some had been returned I could get a refund and then buy the ones that had been returned. (a bit of a cumbersome process I thought). Anyway, none had been returned. I then called Debenhams on Monday as they never did get back to let me know if the items were lost. I was told the items were lost in transit and I would get a refund.

With relief I found you were selling the very same cookware at the same price and as I'm getting my money back from Debenhams I ordered the pots Monday night.

Tuesday morning a rather rude lady arrived with the Debenhams pots and was not happy at being told I was not signing for them and to take them back to Debenhams. I emailed Debenhams informing them of the full story and re iterating I want a full refund.

Today (Wednesday) the same lady arrived as Debenhams have told her she was to collect and return some item. They mean the pots she took back to her depo yesterday.

Sorry, it is a convoluted story. Meanwhile I placed an order with yourselves on Monday. Today is Wednesday and I have my order in my house. I am completely delighted with the service from yourselves. I thought there was an outside chance of receiveing the order by Friday. You must only have received and processed the order yesterday morning and yet the items are delivered. Fantastic. No fuss, no hassle, no bother and an unbelievable speed of delivery. If only I'd gone through you in the first place. I won't be going near Debenhams again. I will, however, remember your' name.

Thank you for wonderful customer service. I received my lovely Cirulon Chef's Pan yesterday. You should be proud to be in business at a time when so many companies give poor customer service and ask absurd costs for carriage. It's very refreshing to get a parcel delivered to the far North of Scotland for UK Mainland prices, usually companies state, "UK Mainland prices, except the North of Scotland". Perhaps I shouldn't tell you, but your closest competitor on the internet was asking only £48.50 for the same pan! There delivery charges were £3.95, however for my post-code, their delivery charge was a whacking £24.13!

So, not only were you the cheapest to purchase the pan from, but having ordered it on Saturday evening I wasn't expecting it until nearer the end of this week. Imagine how happy I was to receive it only two working days after, and using it tonight for a chilli!
