The DO NOTS
Leave a pan unattended on heat source.
Allow the pan to boil dry, but if this should happen, do not remove from heat source until it has fully cooled.
Pour cold water into a hot pan.
Overfill your pan. The stated capacity for each item is for the volume of water when filled to the brim on a level surface. The actual usable capacity of each item will depend upon the food beeing cooked, which may be only 50% of the stated capacity.
Allow gas flames to burn up the side of cookware.
Allow handles to overhang cooker's edge or other heat sources.
Store food in pans.
Attempt any repairs of your cookware, but contact Harts of Stur for Free Advice.
