Harts of Stur are proud to be sponsoring the Mousetrap theatre at the Sturminster Newton Cheese Festival for the third year running. We have a great line up of demonstrations including great chefs featuring delicious recipes, baking fun for the kids and professional masterclasses in wine-making, butchery and curing to name but a few. In the build up to the festival we will be introducing each demonstrator in a mini-bio and series of questions and answers about their work and what they enjoy about the cheese festival. The next blog in our series is all about Chanel Cornelius from 918 Coffee.

Introducing Chanel Cornelius from 918 Coffee

Chanel Cornelius along with husband Justin took their passion for coffee from a love of the beverage all the way to roasting and supplying a variety of customers and retail outlets all around the globe. Their coffee production took a leap forward when they invented the Eco-Roast technology. Harnessing the energy of waste coffee grounds for fuelling the roasting process for a carbon free and zero waste solution. 918-Coffee

Tell us who or what inspired you to start 918 Coffee?

The birth of 918 Coffee Cowas a joint dream from our passion for great coffee and business. The evolution of the company allowed us to further indulge our passion for the environment by developing the worlds first Eco Roast technology. This has allowed us the opportunity to significantly expand our operations, which further drives our passion for business development.

What are you most looking forward to seeing or doing at the Cheese festival?

We're looking forward to meeting new people, fellow traders and also spreading the word of Eco Roast – our deliciously responsible coffee!

What is your favourite Cheese?

My favourite Cheese is grilled Halloumi or a Caerphilly and Justin enjoys Brie & Camembert.

What would be your food heaven and what would be your food hell?

My food heaven would be a world of banana milkshakes. Justin’s would be a variety of locally produced traditional English meat dishes, especially Venison. Justin’s food hell would be Risotto or Paella and mine would be Asparagus – yuck!

When and Where?

You will be able to see Chanel on stage at the Mousetrap Theatre on Sunday 10th September at 2pm. Please come along and we hope you enjoy the Cheese Festival.
