KitchenAid Artisan 180 Black Tie Limited Edition Food Mixer

The iconic KitchenAid Artisan Food Mixer is now available in a luxurious limited edition Black Tie livery. Only 1,000 of these limited edition mixers will be available in Europe, with just 200 of those available in the UK. Each Black Tie mixer will be individually numbered on its custom trim band and, for added authenticity, will come with a commemorative card signed by both the KitchenAid Senior Design Manager Small Appliances and the Senior Director of Manufacturing for KitchenAid.

The limited edition Black Tie mixer is constructed from the most premium of high quality materials which include die-cast zinc, black chrome and satin and has an amazing cast iron-like textured finished.

John McConnell, KitchenAid's Senior Design Manager for Small Appliances, commented: "The Artisan Black Tie's classic design and bold, all black finish represents a modern and sophisticated take on the classic stand mixer," McConnell continues: "Like the little black dress, or classic tuxedo, the new mixer is a timeless collector's item that will never go out of style."

Beneath its elegant robes, this Artisan tilt head mixer is instantly recognisable as a design classic, fully justifying its 'iconic' status. The sweeping curves and rounded head give it a presence in the kitchen that other mixers can only dream of. But it's not all about looks with this mixer. Robust and stable in construction, its direct drive motor provides plenty of power to the attachments or accessories. The mixer's original planetary action eliminates the need to rotate the bowl by spinning the beater clockwise and the shaft counter-clockwise, moving the beater to the edge of the bowl at 67 different points.

This limited edition Black Tie model includes a 4.8L black stainless steel bowl, black coated dough hook and black coated beater, all of which are dishwasher safe. This mixer also includes a stainless steel whisk and Artisan pouring shield.
