Sage The Smart Kettle

Smart in every sense of the word, the Smart Kettle from Sage ticks all the right boxes for both looks and features.

The sleek stainless steel kettle sits on a base where the pre-programmed temperature buttons are located.

A soft open lid will prevent any hot water splash back and the 1.7 litre capacity kettle also features a removable scale filter.

Dual water windows let you see how much water is in the kettle from any angle (helpful if you left handed) and, to keep things tidy on the worktop, the power cord length can be adjusted by wrapping it under the base.

But it's the 5 temperature settings that's really smart about this kettle. Different types of tea need to be steeped at different temperatures to be able to extract the most delicate of flavours. The temperature settings range from 80° for green tea, 85° for white tea, 90° for Oolong, 85° for coffee and 100° for black tea (or for boiling water).
Thanks to the powerful 3000W heating element you won't have to wait long for your brew either (an alarm will sound when the water boils).

There's also a handy keep warm function that will keep the water at the desired temperature for 20 minutes after heating.
