The Grinch by Jim Shore is a collection of high quality, hand painted figurines and hanging ornaments based on the Dr Seuss classic How The Grinch Stole Christmas - the story of an ill-tempered curmudgeon transformed by the magic of Christmas. First published in 1957, this popular children's tale was created by American children's author and cartoonist, Theodor Seuss Geisel.
Jim Shore grew up in rural South Carolina. His artistic parents instilled in him a love of American folk art, and it's from these strong family roots that he developed a rich new design style, blending his signature colour palette with traditional imagery from quilting and a variety of folk art forms.
