Inspired by the traditional Japanese Suribachi and Surikiogi, this Cole & Mason Suribachi Mortar & Pestle is suitable for a wide range of ingredients associated with many cuisines from around the world.
Boasts an elegantly designed ceramic bowl with a high gloss glazed exterior and an unglazed, ridged interior. A wooden pestle is provided to handle the grinding and a small, stiff brush is included to aid the removal of the ground seeds, herbs, spices or nuts.
The mortar is dishwasher safe and the whole product is covered by a manufacturers 2 year guarantee.
Wooden pestle is designed specifically for the mortar and makes for an easy and efficient grind action.
