The Jura coffee machines that we stock share a number of features that come as standard. Some of these features are explained below.
Brew & Extraction Technology
The Intelligent Pre-Brew Aroma System (I.P.B.A.S.©) has been designed by Jura engineers to get the best out of each coffee blend and roast. This technology aims to take the guesswork and chance out of making the a great cup, resulting in a perfect coffee every time. If you love your coffee then you will appreciate the I.P.B.A.S.
The Pulse Extraction Process (P.E.P®) has been developed to give the optimum extraction time. The system pulses hot water through ground coffee at the ideal rate to create the best flavours.
Heating & Energy Saving
Jura machines feature Thermoblock heating. This means that water is heated immediately when required - which makes it quicker and more efficient than machines which use a boiler. It also means a more consistent water temperature.
In addition, Jura machines have Energy Save Mode (E.S.M©). This can be adjusted to your habits to help save up to 40% of the energy used. Programmable Switch Off means the machine is ready when you need it, but not using excess energy when not in use. The Zero-Energy Switch completes any current actions once pressed and then powers off the machine, disconnecting from the mains - reducing energy usage when not in use.
Fine Foam Technology*
Fine Foam Technology means milk foam of the highest quality is prepared automatically. Milk is frothed twice, meaning bubbles that form are burst, leaving an incredibly fine and compact foam that is both creamy and sweet. Foam is slowed down as it exits the frother, meaning it is poured evenly and slowly into the cup.

Cleaning & Hygiene
Self-cleaning at the touch of a button, the integrated cleaning of the brewing unit and system to ensure optimum hygiene and performance without the need to remove elements and clean the machine manually.
The machine alerts you when cleaning cycles and descaling are necessary to make sure your coffee machine is kept in perfect condition. Jura coffee machines have been awarded a certificate for high hygiene standards in an independent test by TÜV Rheinland®.
Customisation
Jura machines have a number of features which can be customised to suit your own tastes and requirements.
Coffee Strength
The strength of the coffee can be adjusted on a per product basis, meaning you can set each type of coffee to the exact strength that you prefer.
Programmable Water Levels
You can set the amount of water to be used for each coffee product, meaning you won't end up with too much or too little coffee in your favourite mug, cup or glass.
Height Adjustable Spout
The coffee spout height is adjustable, allowing you to use it with cups of different heights. Lower it for an espresso to pour straight to the glass, and raise it for a longer coffee.
Water Hardness Setting
To ensure that your Jura coffee machine performs at its best, there is a variable water hardness setting. The machine will use this to determine when filters need changing and when cleaning programs need to run.
