The Kuhn Rikon Allround 28cm/5L Uncoated Shallow Casserole is a versatile stainless steel pan that can be used on the hob or in the oven. It's great for braised dishes, casseroles, frying, rice, and pasta meals. It is also ideal for use as a deep frying pan and risotto pan.
The pot is made of 18/10 stainless steel, which includes 18% chromium and 10% nickel. This makes it more durable and resistant to rust, corrosion, and stains compared to 18/0 stainless steel. The chrome provides hardness and rust resistance, while the nickel adds to the durability of the pot and provides an enduring shine.
The fully encapsulated, impact-bonded induction base ensures fast, even heating and is suitable for use on all heat sources including induction. It is also oven safe up to 240°C.
The pot features comfortable stainless steel loop handles that are riveted and will stay cool when used on the hob. The glass lid with a stainless steel rim and handle has a convenient steam hole so that you can check on your food without losing heat. The pot also features an allround rolled pouring lip and is dishwasher safe.
