Tom Kerridge Gauntlet
The Tom Kerridge Gauntlet is made from high-quality 14oz cotton twill which has been treated to provide a barrier to grease and steam and will also slow down heat conduction if hot water or liquid is spilt on it.
Designed to cope with the demands of a professional kitchen this gauntlet measures 18cm wide by 39cm in length and features a handy hanging hook
The cotton twill has been woven in Burnley and finished in Accrington in Lancashire, the traditional heartland of textile manufacturing
The quality of this cotton is normally only found in clothing or upholstery
The inspiration for the unique stripe came from Lance Corporal Jack Jones, the character played by Clive Dunn in the BBC sitcom Dad’s Army!
