What item on our website have you got your eye on this Christmas and why?

I would love the new Oracle Touch from Sage by Heston Blumenthal. I'm a great fan of Sage products and their coffee machines produce a great tasting cup of coffee. It would look stunning in my kitchen.

So, have you finished all your Christmas shopping yet?

I knocked my Christmas shopping on the head in one day. It's a busy time of year in retail, so I have to be efficient and plan ahead.

And what are your present wrapping skills like?

I'm absolutely terrible at it. It's a case of gift bags for everyone!

What is your favourite thing about Christmas?

Having a young son I've re-found Christmas. He's been excited about the big day since November. I can't wait for us to put a mince pie and glass of milk out for Santa and see his face in the morning when his stocking is bursting with presents.

Do you have a top Christmas tip?

Have fun and enjoy yourself.

Who cooks the Christmas dinner?

I love cooking, so I'm the chef in our house. It's also a great excuse to open a bottle of good red early in the morning.

Favourite Christmas cracker joke?

Not one that I can remember. I'm terrible when it comes to telling jokes.

What’s the best Christmas present you’ve ever received?

I've had lots of great presents from family and friends over the years. But I still love opening a stocking in bed early on Christmas morning.

And the worst?

Probably some form of twin-pack deodorant and soap.

Do you make New Year’s resolutions, and if so, do you keep to them?

I don't normally make them, but this year I will. And I will keep them
