Talking Christmas Blog Global Knife Block

What item on our website have you got your eye on this Christmas and why?

I would really like a set of Global Knives as I've had my eye on them for such a long time. I love their sleek styling and all-stainless steel construction. They would certainly make prepping the vegetables for Christmas dinner less of a chore! In reality I'm more likely to get a Matilda Mug!

So, have you finished all your Christmas shopping yet?

I've haven't even started yet! I'm not normally a 'last minute' person, but this year I don't seem to have had the time.

And what are your present wrapping skills like?

They must be fairly good as I always seem to end up doing my mum and sister's wrapping too!

What is your favourite thing about Christmas?

The warm feeling you get from being around the people you love. Also the Christmas lights - who doesn't like sparkly things?

Do you have a top Christmas tip?

Try not to stress. Easier said than done I know, but it's normally the one day of the year you can eat, sleep and be merry with no-one judging you. Go on, have that third mince pie!

Who cooks the Christmas dinner?

It's a team effort in our house. I peel and prep the vegetables the day before (which would be so much easier with some Global knives - hint, hint!) and my mum, dad and sister do the cooking and washing up on the big day.

Favourite Christmas cracker joke?

What do you get when you eat Christmas decorations? Tinsillitis! Ha, ha.

What’s the best Christmas present you’ve ever received?

I don't really have one to be honest. Although when I was little my sister and I got a Wii which was awesome.

And the worst?

I've never had a worst present, but one year I didn't receive any fluffy socks and they are my Christmas present staple. So that made me sad plus I had to go out buy my own!

Do you make New Year’s resolutions, and if so, do you keep to them?

No, I'm perfect!
