Featuring the Impress Puck System™, the Barista Express Impress helps you achieve the perfect dose and a precise tamp, for a great tasting coffee whilst reducing the amount of grinds that end up on the machine and your worktop!

The Barista Express Impress from Sage uses the 4 keys formula used by professional cafe machines to make third wave speciality coffee. It uses the correct dose of freshly ground coffee beans, ensures precise temperature control, optimum water pressure and produces true microfoam milk which is essential for latte art.

The Barista Express Impress features an integrated and intelligent dosing conical burr grinder with 25 grind settings. Dosing is calculated automatically, based on the last grind. If your dose requires a little more or less, the intelligent dosing system auto corrects, remembering and adjusting the previous dose and tamp outcome, to achieve the perfect result.

For a consistent tamp and a polished puck the Barista Express Impress provides a precise 10kg of tamp pressure followed by a professional 7° barista twist for a flawless tamp surface.

A professional style 54mm stainless steel portafilter delivers a full bodied coffee with rich and complex flavours using the ideal 18g dose of freshly ground coffee beans. To extract an opulent, creamy and caramel coloured espresso, a low pressure pre infusion is followed by a high pressure (9 bar) extraction that's delivered by a 15 bar Italian pump. The perfect 93°C water temperature that is required for perfectly balanced flavours is achieved via the Thermocoil heating system with PID temperature control.

The powerful steam wand produces 130°C steam to quickly produce silky, velvety micro-foam milk, essential for delicious speciality coffees and the creation of latte art!
